The majority of voters have concerns about Obama based on the Wright connection.
Forget about Hillary for a second...how can anyone deny the huge potential effect with these videos in a general election?
Because the videos are frauds, and the media is just now starting to notice. They cut out the parts where Wright was quoting Amb. Peck on the Chickens Coming Home to Roost bit. I guarantee you these videos have run their course.
It seems to me that Obama supporters who refuse to see the Wrighting on the Wall for their guy are the ones desperately trying to find an upside to the grim polls coming out for Obama.
Look, Obama clearly needed a major impact from his speech to counter the effect of the Wright matter, and he appears to have gotten zippo instead. What's he going to do as these videos are now packaged and repackaged time and again over the remainder of the election season? It would be bad enough if Obama got something out of the speech, but saw further speeches have diminishing returns. But, in fact, it looks like any speeches will have zero return instead -- at best.
A very bad sign, I'd think.

If you think your puffing yourself up in outrage and pretending to "fight back" like this is going to defeat the right wing attack machine, when Wright gives them all they could ever dream of to bring down a Democratic candidate and a nice chunk of the Democratic brand with it, you're obviously of a maturity level that you've got some diaper issues all your own, I should think.
For those of us who live on planet earth, Wright is an enormous problem for Democrats and liberals more generally, as would be Ward Churchill.
I suppose you think we should embrace Ward Churchill as well, right, since you think in your quixotic way that mere blustering defeats all enemies? He has the same kinds of excuses as Wright for his 9/11 comments, down to his basing those comments on racial injustices against native Americans.
Of course they will never accept the fact that he is unelectable. The writing is so clear on the wall that it is literally staring them in the face. Let them have their cake and eat it too. They will most likely choke on the cake in the months ahead.
